A triangle has 3 slides, each of which is 60 degrees. From ranch to chef to table - the triangle is complete at 60 Degrees Mastercrafted - the new restaurant that touts a $200 hamburger. Did I try that burger? No. Would I try that burger? No!!! But, I did enjoy their Korean Burger masterpiece. If the photos below don't make your mouth water, let me describe what I experienced.
The first bite took me to a new hamburger high! Let me set the stage - beef patty and Korean BBQ beef short ribs, Asian slaw, satay sauce, fried egg, scallions, crisp pepper bacon delivered perfectly on a pretzel bun! YUM! Can you imagine the tastes of all these flavors blended together?! I tasted sweet, I tasted spicy, I tasted tangy, and I tasted a juicy patty cooked to "medium" perfection. While I love the classic bacon cheeseburger, I really love traveling to new places. This burger took me there AND back! The fried egg did not run one single drop; the Asian slaw was crisp, cool, and tangy. The meat, when I cut it in half, smiled at me with the perfect shade of pink. (My Mom's favorite color!) Of course, I smiled right back. :)
As always, there are some items on any menu that are not perfection. Susan ordered the Turkey Burger, without the Goat Cheese, and she said it was very bland. Maybe the Goat Cheese would have given her burger more flavor, but, if the burger was not good WITHOUT the Goat Cheese, that tells me the cheese is there to hide that fact!
Cheers to Eating More Burgers!
